Shirel Kahane-Rapport

I am a 5th year PhD Candidate in the Goldbogen Lab at the Hopkins Marine Station. I work with some of the largest animals on the planet, baleen whales, to study how body size plays a key role in setting fundamental limits to morphology, physiology and ecology, and provides insights that contribute to the success of conservation. Prior to Stanford, I completed a BSc from the University of Guelph (Canada).

As a member of the PFP program, I am looking forward to exploring teaching careers and developing tools for educating and inspiring students.
