Jordan Smart

Jordan Smart is a PhD candidate in Aeronautics and Astronautics. His research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence for the design of next-generation aircraft incorporating novel technologies. His dissertation examines the use of accelerated mission simulation in training neural networks to design aircraft for those missions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University and an associate’s degree in Engineering Science from Camden County College. Outside of research, Jordan enjoys cross country running and is an avid motorsports fan.
