Eduardo Valle

Eduardo Valle is a PhD candidate in the Chemical Engineering department at Stanford University. His work focuses on production of alternative and sustainable fuels, specifically looking at the synthesis and optimization of catalytic systems for the efficient conversion of synthesis gas to higher alcohols by studying the effects that alkaline and transition metal promotion, support and reaction conditions have on selectivity and activity of the catalyst. Eduardo started his academic journey through the California Community College system and received his BS in Chemical Engineering at UC San Diego. He is interested in teaching and promoting higher education to students from underrepresented groups.
