Delane Parnell is the founder and CEO of PlayVS, which is building the infrastructure for high school esports. Prior to starting PlayVS, Parnell worked at IncWell Venture Capital, where he became the youngest black venture capitalist in the United States. A lifelong entrepreneur, Parnell started his first job at 13, working 40-plus hours a week during the school year. At 17, he used the money he saved to purchase three cell phone stores and joined the founding team of Executive Car Rental, which now has 16 locations across Michigan.

On November 8, 2016, Michael Tubbs was elected to serve as the mayor of the City of Stockton, California. Upon taking office in January 2017, Tubbs became both Stockton’s youngest mayor and the city’s first African-American mayor. Tubbs is also the youngest mayor in the history of the country representing a city with a population of more than 100,000 residents. In his first year as mayor, Tubbs secured $20 million to launch Stockton Scholars, a place-based scholarship that aims to triple the number of Stockton students entering and graduating from college.

Kevin Weil is the VP of Product for Novi, a new digital wallet for Facebook’s Libra payment system. Previously, Weil was VP of Product at Instagram, overseeing consumer, growth, and monetization products. Before joining Instagram in 2016, he was SVP of Product at Twitter, where he led product development and design across Twitter’s consumer and ad products, as well as Vine and Periscope. Earlier in his career he held software engineering and data science roles at Cooliris, Tropos Networks, Microsoft Research, and the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center.
