Women Leading with Influence: Application Deadline

In this highly interactive, two-day workshop, you will increase your self-awareness by understanding what limits women in attaining their pursuits and where blind spots may be sabotaging them. You will gain an understanding of how to effectively attain your goals and how to persuasively enroll others towards action.

Open and relevant to graduate students at any stage in any discipline or degree. Space is limited. Due to the workshop's interactive format, full participation in both sessions is required.

Navigating Career Uncertainty (PhDs & Postdocs)

Many PhD students and postdocs wonder about their next steps. Should I complete my PhD? Should I pursue academic, industry or government related positions? What are my options that would be best suited for me? This 5 session seminar class -- Wednesdays from 3-4:30 -- is designed to help you gain a better sense about your future plans. The dates are 2/7, 2/14, 2/21, 2/28, and 3/7. There will be a number of assessments to help you understand ofwhat's important to you, and activities to help gain insight into the world of work.

Flourishing: The Art and Science of a Life Well Lived Deadline

What is human flourishing and how do we practice it in an age of hyper-complexity and ever-accelerating pace? You will engage with these questions by studying, discussing, and applying research on the psychological, emotional, and social factors that promote a life well lived.

Management Matters: Session 2

Management Matters is a comprehensive, three-session workshop focuses on simple principles and guidelines that, once learned, can make the process of managing others enjoyable and effective, and help you succeed in whatever career path you choose.

Session 2: Making Expectations Clear

Clear expectations are the basis for all effective management and, remarkably, are as crucial to managing “up” as to “down.” We will build on the first session to determine how to establish clear expectations with people of different styles and in different roles.

Management Matters: Application Deadline

Management Matters is a comprehensive, three-session workshop focuses on simple principles and guidelines that, once learned, can make the process of managing others enjoyable and effective, and help you succeed in whatever career path you choose.

Management Matters will take place on the following three Tuesdays: Jan. 30, Feb. 6, & Feb. 13 from 4:30 - 7 PM. Due to the workshop's interactive format, full participation in all three sessions is required.
