Join VPGE and friends for a week of events and give-aways to recognize and appreciate Stanford graduate students between April 13-18, 2026!
What is Grad Student Appreciation Week? A campus-wide celebration of our graduate students – as teachers, learners, mentors, and researchers.
- Week of activities, initiatives, and giveaways for graduate students hosted by schools, departments and units across the university
- The Stanford 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) competition on Thursday, April 16 will serve as a signature event

Tuesday, April 14
- [Doerr School of Sustainability Students] Doerr School Resource Fair with the Dean: 12:00 PM–2:00 PM on the Mitchell Patio at 397 Panama Mall.
- [All Grad Students] Beyond the Bottom Line: Spirituality, Business, and Meaningful Success: 12:30–1:30 PM, at the Haas Center, DK Conference Room.
- [School of Engineering Students] SoE Graduate Student Appreciation Celebration: 1:00–2:30 PM, at the Huang Building courtyard, near the "granite slab table" outside of Forbes cafe.
- [Graduate School of Education Students (pre-registration required)] CommuniTea Time: Graduate Student Appreciation Week: 2:00 PM–3:00 PM at the ANKO Forum.
- [Graduate Students with SLAC Badges] Graduate Student Mocktail Mixer: 3:30–5:30 PM, at SLAC Building 53, 1st floor.

- [Graduate School of Education Students (pre-registration required)] Destress with GSE: Chair Massages: 12:00 PM–3:00 PM at the ANKO Building.
- [Doerr School of Sustainability First Year PhD Students] First-Year PhD Community ~ Friday Flowers for You! ~ : 12:30–1:30 PM, at the Green Earth Sciences Patio on 367 Panama Mall.
- [All Grad Students] Fireside Chat with President Jon Levin and Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs Ken Goodson: 3:30–5:00 PM, at the Mackenzie Room on the 3rd floor of Huang Engineering. Advanced registration will be required.
