Yuri joined the VPGE office as the Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost in April 2017. Her key responsibilities include the coordination of the Vice Provost’s calendar and administrative support. She started her Stanford career at the Graduate School of Business in 1983, where she was a member of the faculty support team for over 25 years. She has a BA in Japanese Civilization (Individual Major) from the University of California at Santa Cruz and an MA in East Asian Studies from Stanford University.
Her favorite Stanford perk is receiving heirloom seeds monthly from the Stanford Seed Library. During the week, Yuri relies on daily walks for exercise and relaxation, but weekends and vacations are spent on longer seasonal outdoor adventures: mushroom hunting, backpacking and fishing.
