Simi Aluko

Simi Aluko is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Design and Construction, where she researches how Industrialized Construction can deliver dignified, low-cost housing in developing cities. Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Simi’s work centers on decolonizing the built environment through community-led design and collaboration. Supervised by Prof. Martin Fischer, she aims to reimagine building systems that are faster, cheaper, and rooted in local needs.
