About

Olivier Simon is a PhD candidate at the Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics, where he pursues graduate research work in particle physics phenomenology under the supervision of Savas Dimopoulos. As a particle phenomenologist, he concerns himself with working out the measurable consequences of the existence of the fundamental particles of Nature and the interactions between them. His interests include the nature of Dark Matter, the production of particles by gravitational effects, and explaining the relative weakness of gravity. He is a native of Quebec City, Canada and holds a Bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a Master's from the University of Waterloo.
