Olamide Abiose

Olamide Abiose is a JD/PhD candidate in Neuroscience within Stanford’s School of Medicine. Her research is focused on understanding the neurobiological consequences of psychological stress. Her dissertation uses proteomic analyses to examine the relationship between stress biomarkers and Alzheimer's disease pathology as well as brain structure and function. It also investigates the neurological impacts of stress from long-term solitary confinement. Olamide holds a BA in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis as well as a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Outside of research, she enjoys traveling, exploring new coffee shops, and hosting potlucks.
