Monique Harrison

My academic home is in Sociology of Education in the GSE. As part of the Carta Research Lab I study undergraduate pathways through college, with an emphasis on gender, race and first generation college students. My dissertation focuses on how women decide to take mathematics courses and the salient aspects of courses that guide their search and selection process. I am a former middle school math/science teacher, math coach and vice principal.
