Maritha Wang
Maritha will conduct cutting-edge research at Stanford in electronic, optoelectronic, or photonic materials and their device applications, and hopes to forge a career developing materials for powerful, new technologies. Maritha joins Stanford with an impressive undergraduate research record that included a Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship (2019) and one publication stemming from her participation in a National Science Foundation program that allowed her to work in Paul McEuen’s physics lab at Cornell University. She is excited to join Stanford’s Materials Science and Engineering program and hopes to work with faculty such as Mark Brongersma (Materials Science and Engineering) on nanoscale optoelectronics and photonics, or Zhenan Bao (Chemical Engineering) on organic electronics and their applications.
