Lisa Maxwell

Lisa Maxwell has been a Mediator since 1985 and is the Director of the Training Institute at the National Conflict Resolution Center.  She has extensive experience mediating and resolving workplace disputes, interpersonal disputes, and complex issues. She has designed and implemented communication, conflict resolution and diversity trainings in Spanish and English locally and internationally for companies, universities and government agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of the Navy, and the Treasury Department.  Lisa developed and is the lead trainer in both the ART of Inclusive Communication and the ART and Science of High Performance Teams.  She is co-author of two books in the field of Dispute Resolution - The Exchange: A Bold and Proven Approach to Managing Workplace Conflict and The Exchange Strategy for Managing Conflict in Health Care.  Lisa is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian.  She holds a Masters in Arts from San Diego State University.
