Justin Myles

Justin is a PhD candidate in Physics with a focus on Astrophysics and Cosmology. Justin studies observations of the large structures of the universe -- galaxies and clusters of galaxies -- to understand the past and future development of the universe. His primary research interest is in experimental tests to better understand the expansion of the universe with observations of large swaths of the sky collected as part of the Dark Energy Survey. His expertise is in combining multiple forms of data collected from galaxies and the hot clouds of gas they often live in to relate these observations to the standard cosmological model.
