Itay Shalit
Itay is a PhD student in the Computer Science department at Stanford. He earned a BSc with a double major in Computer Science and Literature at Tel Aviv University and an MSc in Computer Science at the Weizmann Institute of Science. His research focuses on complexity theory and the foundations of cryptography, particularly at their intersection with quantum computing. During his PhD, he intends to address problems related to the security of cryptographic protocols in the presence of quantum adversaries. He is also interested in complexity-theoretic separations between classical and quantum computation. Besides research, he enjoys surfing as well as reading prose and poetry.
