Indra Joe

Indra Joe joined the VPGE team in 2022 where she serves as director of evaluation. In her role, she evaluates the fellowships and programs developed by the VPGE and is part of the IDEAL Graduate Recruitment team that focuses on advancing graduate student diversity at Stanford.  

Prior to Stanford, Indra was an institutional research analyst at Chabot College, a community college in Hayward CA. She holds a PhD in Developmental and Psychological Sciences, Education and a PhD minor in Psychology from Stanford University, and a MS in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island. 

In her free time, Indra enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling. A proud Singaporean, she also enjoys participating in activities organized by the larger Singaporean community in the Bay Area.
