Helena Roy
Helena Roy is a PhD candidate in Economics at Stanford University. She works at the intersection of behavioral economics and industrial organization, with a focus on healthcare. Her research asks how people demand, access, and process information about their or their patients’ health, with a view to using novel information products to improve health choices. Current projects include work on the use of patient satisfaction scores, physician experience and the racial maternal health gap in the US, and education and the digital divide in internet access. Outside of her work, she does triathlons and writes non-fiction.
