Harmony Folse

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Genetics department at Stanford. I am in the Lipsick lab where we study the dREAM/MMB complex in the fruit fly. This complex regulates gene expression and the cell cycle, thus, it has links to cancer. Outside of the lab, I am interested in teaching and mentoring. I participated in the Stanford @ The Tech program where I ran science activities for museum visitors and wrote articles for their website. I am excited to participate in the PFP program to learn more about the teaching process, especially about teaching at a community college.
