Haifeng Teng

Haifeng Tang is a second-year PhD student in the Physics department at Stanford, working with Professor Xiao-Liang Qi. Haifeng’s research interests include topics in high-energy physics, especially the holographic view of quantum gravity. He is also interested in the interface among quantum information, quantum gravity, and non-equilibrium quantum dynamics. Currently, he is exploring clues to answer the fundamental question of how the arrow of time emerges in a closed universe. Outside of the lab, Haifeng has a passion for outdoor and recreational activities, including bicycling, hiking, badminton, and pool.
