Gabriela Basel

Gabriela is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering. Her research explores novel healthcare data modeling methods to better understand social and environmental factors that create and propagate health disparities. She received her B.S. in Molecular Engineering with a minor in Computational Neuroscience from the University of Chicago. Outside of research, she enjoys rock climbing, exploring San Francisco, and playing basketball.
