Francisco Romero

Francisco Romero is a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering. Francisco's research focuses on how to design and build systems for interactive, large-scale applications like machine learning inference and video analytics. He also works on infrastructure and management of a new cloud computing execution model called serverless computing. Francisco holds a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Physics from the University of Southern California. Outside of research, Francisco actively mentors first-generation/low-income (FLI) students, recruits for Stanford's engineering graduate programs, and both plays and watches sports.
