Benjamin Bell

Ben originally hails from Texas, but traded “too hot” days for “too cold” nights to work on metalloenzyme structure/function at MIT before coming to Stanford and finding a “just right” climate for graduate school. Ben is currently in Peter Kim’s lab, using antibody engineering and immunogen design to pursue novel vaccine targets for enveloped viruses like HIV. Ben is excited to be a part of the PFP program this year and see firsthand opportunities to combine his passion for teaching and research!
