Basma Altaf

Basma Altaf is a PhD candidate in Civil and Environmental Engineering.  Her research focuses on studying the impact of the built spaces on temporal perceptions as well as exploring ways of emulating nature indoors using hybrid physical-digital interventions for improving occupant well-being and promoting health equity in the built environment. She did her masters in Sustainable Architecture from University of Edinburgh, UK. She is an architect as well as a civil engineer. Outside of research, she enjoys traveling, creating arts, and engaging in home improvement projects.
