Ana Núñez
Ana C. Núñez is a PhD candidate in History. She is an Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE) Fellow and Mentor. Her dissertation on medieval history investigates the textual and artistic methods of legitimation employed by the twelfth-century monarchs of the Kingdom of Jerusalem (founded after the crusaders conquered Jerusalem in 1099). She serves as a Committee Member on the Medieval Academy of America (MAA), Mentoring Programs Committee, and is co-organizer of the MAA’s inaugural Summer Research Program for early graduate students. She greatly enjoys teaching, and is committed to developing and implementing equitable teaching practices in the medieval history classroom.
