Dear Stanford Graduate,

Congratulations on the completion of your Stanford graduate degree! On behalf of all of my colleagues in the Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education (VPGE), I want to share my admiration for your achievements and my best wishes for your future success.

You are graduating at a time when the world needs talented, compassionate, dedicated individuals like yourself to tackle urgent societal problems including the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial injustice. The knowledge and skills you have gained while at Stanford, along with your passion and commitment, will serve you well as you venture forth in your life and career.

With your degree in hand, you are joining a robust, global community of over 220,000 Stanford alumni with graduate degrees. I hope you will continue to be a part of the Stanford community by engaging with current students, alumni, and faculty. I encourage you to sign up for your free Stanford Pass account to access Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) resources, register for alumni events, and make connections with Stanford’s many global alumni communities. SAA and BEAM (Stanford Career Education) are teaming up to offer the exciting new Stanford PlusFive program: career development coaching and resources for alumni for five years after graduation.

Again, heartfelt congratulations from all of us at VPGE! Thank you for choosing Stanford for your graduate studies. We look forward to seeing what you do next, so please stay in touch!

Warm regards,

Stacey
