Sara Menker is the founder and CEO of Gro Intelligence. Gro’s data, analytics, and forecasting models inform companies involved in the agricultural supply chain and organizations impacted by climate change. Menker has served on various advisory bodies, including the CFTC’s Climate-Related Market Risk Subcommittee, and is currently a member of the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Advisory Group (HLAG) on Climate Action. Prior to founding Gro, Menker was in Morgan Stanley’s commodities group, where she managed an options trading portfolio. She was named a Global Young Leader by the World Economic Forum, and is a fellow of the Aspen Institute as well as a trustee of the Mandela Institute For Development Studies (MINDS).
Hans Tung is a managing partner at GGV Capital, focusing on early-stage investments across the global digital economy. He is consistently recognized among the top venture capital investors in the world, having been named to the Forbes Midas list nine consecutive years from 2013 to 2021, most recently ranking #3. His portfolio includes 18 companies valued at more than $1 billion, including Affirm, Airbnb, Bytedance, Peloton, StockX, and Wish. Tung also oversees GGV’s DE&I initiatives, and he is the co-host of the podcast “Evolving for the Next Billion,” which explores entrepreneurship in the US, China, India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.
