EDGE Students pose for a photo
Friday, November 1, 2019 - 12:30pm to 1:30pm

In this workshop, our own EDGE mentors will share helpful information, anecdotes, and insider tips on how to succeed here at Stanford. They will share all the things they wish they had known in their first year of grad school.

Here is a selection of the topics we will cover:

  • Academics -- How do you study effectively and efficiently in graduate school?
  • Research -- How do you find a research advisor, and best maintain a productive relationship?
  • Personal Development -- How do manage self-doubt, stress, and comparisons to others?
  • Time Management -- What are the best ways to manage your time in graduate school?
