Join our Diversity Works discussion "Culture Clash: How to Thrive in a Multicultural World" with Professor Hazel Markus.

Professor Hazel Markus studies how culture (e.g. gender, ethnicity, religion, social class, region or country of national origin) may influence people’s thoughts and feelings. Her most recent book “Clash!: How to Thrive in a Multicultural World,” explores how to increase understanding, build relationships, and maximize productivity in our increasingly multicultural society.  Dr. Markus has been a Stanford faculty member since 1994 and is director of the Research Institute of the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity.
