Learn the science behind great teams and skills to lead high performance teams.

Diverse, high performing teams solve complex problems better than individuals and non-diverse teams. Such teams generate solutions that exceed the sum of the individual abilities of team members. In this workshop students will learn the key effective leadership traits for working in, managing and creating high performance teams of diverse individuals. Participants will understand and practice the communication skills and other skills that have been proven to be the most effective in creating and managing high performance teams. This three-hour workshop, will focus on practical skills, dialogue, and thought-provoking exercises.

The National Conflict Resolution Center has been resolving workplace conflicts for over 35 years. Based on that experience and compelling new research about what produces effective teams, we have created The ART and Science of High Performance Teams. This interactive workshop brings to life the practical experience from NCRC supported by this research.
