In this six-week series, you will build or revise a course syllabus using evidence-based frameworks. This is also an opportunity to interrogate your own implicit understandings of learning and teaching and, potentially, develop new or additional ones.
Through active engagement and successful completion of this series, participants will be able to:
Apply the Backward Course Design model to focus on what students will be able to do, know, and/or feel by the end of your course,
Articulate learning goals and learning objectives that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound,
Align learning experiences with learning outcomes to optimize student learning, and
Implement course design and teaching strategies to create an inclusive environment and support learning for all students.
CDI will meet each Tuesday from June 21-July 26.
Apply here by May 20, 2022.
