The Office of the Vice Provost for Graduate Education (VPGE) opened in January 2007 to further Stanford University’s commitment to its graduate students and to excellence in graduate education. The VPGE office serves Stanford's entire graduate student community of over 9,400 master's, doctoral, and professional degree students in over 200 graduate degree programs within all seven schools.
