Alt Ac Speaker Series: Alternative Academic Career Paths for PhDs

Did you know that a faculty position is but one of many possible career paths you could take with your PhD?

This speaker series explores a range of rewarding alternative academic (alt ac) career options within colleges and universities, including academic advising, administration, research support, and curriculum development. At each session, a speaker or panel of Stanford speakers will talk about their alt ac experience: their path from PhD to where they are today, what they do at Stanford, and their advice for current doctoral students on how to prepare themselves for a variety of career outcomes.

All talks take place from 12-1:15 in the Humanities Center Boardroom. Lunch will be served. RSVP here by the deadline below to ensure your space.
